Alphagriden Pty Ltd (ACN 612 558 947) ("Alphagriden", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you visit alphagriden.com or engage our services.
We collect personal information you voluntarily provide through our forms (name, email address, phone number, postcode, household details), information generated automatically (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) and information from authorised third parties such as the Australian Taxation Office or Services Australia where you have provided written consent.
We use your personal information to assess your eligibility for government payments, grants and tax offsets; to prepare and lodge applications on your behalf; to communicate with you about your matter; to comply with legal obligations under Australian law; and, with your consent, to send you updates about new Australian programs.
We may disclose your information to the Australian Taxation Office, Services Australia (Centrelink, Medicare), state revenue offices, our professional indemnity insurers, our auditors, and IT service providers located in Australia. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
Personal information is stored on servers located in Sydney, Australia. We do not routinely disclose personal information to overseas recipients. Where overseas disclosure is required (for example, to a cloud backup provider), we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient complies with the APPs.
We protect your information using TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, multi-factor authentication for staff, and ISO 27001 aligned controls. Despite these measures, no system is completely secure and you transmit information at your own risk.
Under the Privacy Act 1988 you have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.
We retain personal information for seven (7) years after the conclusion of our engagement, in line with Tax Practitioners Board record-keeping requirements, after which it is securely destroyed.
